About Me:

In 1983 I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Delaware’s Clinical program. My American Psychological Association approved internship in Clinical Psychology was completed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Perry Point, Maryland. Following this, I worked at The Terry Psychiatric Center. During this time I practiced Individual Psychotherapy, Psychological Assessments, Group Therapy and Family Therapy among other activities. I received my license for independent practice in 1986.

Since 1989, I have worked as a full time Private Practicioner. I also worked with Survivors of Abuse in Recovery, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Delaware. I have led formal training seminars in Psychotherapy for other Mental Health professionals. To this day, I remain passionate about helping others improve their lives by building a collaborative relationship with my clients. I believe it is very important to tailor my skills in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Relational Gestalt Therapy to the individual needs and strengths of my clients.
